When myself and my partners opened our first Irish pub in Atlanta back in 1996, we had a very clear mission in mind - to create a "real" Irish pub which blended the best of the old with the best of the new.
At the time, many of our concepts were considered risk, but thankfully it all paid off and we have now built a very exciting and successful business.
Having grown up in the family pub business back in Ireland, I've always had a keen sense of the core principals to which we should adhere - good food, good drink in a friendly and comfortable environment. We apply these principals here at Fadó and it seems to be working.
Much of our success has been built upon attracting and retaining great staff and this is still the case today.We like to think that we offer an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding work environment and we think that we're on the right track - we have had very low staff turnover and many, many examples of staff who have grown through the organization to senior management positions.
