I highly recommend planning your next event at Fado. The party I recently hosted on the back patio was a huge success! Attendees keep congratulating me for pulling together such a great party, but the folks at Fado made it easy! Prior to the event Helén Kirk the Event Manager helped me with menu planning and due to her guidance I ordered just the right amount of food. The night of the event, the food was delicious and the staff was incredibly attentive. Helen assisted in arranging a 40th birthday party for me at Fado. We arranged to have the gathering on the newly added back porch, where we were afforded privacy and room to visit and eat. The food she assisted in selecting was delicious and plentiful, web site for food selections very user friendly. Service was fantastic and food set up was flexible, once brought out, a hit for all attending. What a relief to have someone handle my special occasion as well as the team at Fado did. Turning 40 can be daunting at best.... do what I did and book your party with FADO! To start, the entire booking process was SO easy and was virtually done via e-mail. At FADO, we were able to reserve an area of the bar (free of charge) and decide on a menu with changes up to a week prior! The night of the party we and our guests arrived a little early, so the food was delivered when hot and ready. The food was amazing - almost everyone at the party mentioned it and were surprised with the high quality - no pub grub for FADO. The beer was cold and tasty... and plenty! Our beer goddess/server was both efficient and highly entertaining. I'm fully expecting to spend my 41st with FADO - why wouldn't I?

My husband and I have always been fans of Fado's for the fabulous food and the best pour of Guinness this side of the Atlantic. When I asked him where he wanted to have his celebration happy hour, he immediately chose Fado's. I am happy to report that the warm service that I've always received as a patron extended to the planning and booking of an event. I took care of everything quickly and easily, and the staff were great about providing suggestions, assisting me with questions, and confirming everything. When we go there, our area was ready and exactly as described. The appetizers were yummy, and of course, the Guinness was divine. We will definitely be considering Fado's for our future event needs.

I held my graduation party at Fado and it was FANTASTIC. My family and friends fell in love with that place. I always bring visitors over to Fado for a drink or two when they're in town. The food was beyond amazing (as usual) and the servers/bartenders/etc. went above and beyond for us. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to celebrate my graduation. We had a wonderful time. Everything was fantastic. It was just great. I am so pleased that this is where we had the party. I would definitely recommend the pub for parties. The service was great, the food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was perfect. The weather was a major bonus. I know you didn't have anything to do with the weather but a very awesome day to party on the patio!

I recently hosted my early birthday party at Fados on a Thursday evening. I contacted the events planner of the pub, and we worked out details and what kind of accommodations I'd need for the party (major thing was light, since my group and I are deaf, and we need to see).
Our waitress was awesome! Cara was our server, and I knew her from college, and she also knew a bit of sign language to boot! It was coincidence that we happened to be seated in her section, but what a good coincidence it was! It definitely made things a lot more smooth and enjoyable for everyone.
The food was fantastic. I heard rave reviews on food from everyone, myself included! We had a full course meal: a large appetizer for a big group (I recommend it, I forget the name of it, but the food was great, and it was good portions for most of the people!), dinner, and dessert! I'd have to say the dessert was my favorite part of the meal...I had the bread pudding with the scoop of ice cream. It was SO good, and I really enjoyed the night there!
If you're planning on hosting a party, I'd definitely recommend contacting the events planner at Fados, they were fantastic with my group, and I will definitely be back there again soon to enjoy the food and the atmosphere again!
