St. Patrick’s Day 2015 – Don’t Hold Back, Hold Beers

The best St. Patrick’s Day in DC is at Fadó Irish Pub in the heart of Chinatown. The Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration starts long before March 17th. Fadó hosts special events starting March 1 leading up to the big day.


St. Patrick’s Day - Tuesday, March 17

It’s our 17th St Patrick’s Day in Chinatown and to celebrate we’re opening the doors open at 8 a.m. for St Patrick’s Day 2015.

Come on in early for breakfast and a pint. We’ll have Irish dancers and bag pipers performing throughout the day

Live Music starts at 2pm with Ice Wagon FLU  and Lloyd Dobbler Effect at 8PM.

$10 cover starts at noon


“St. Practice Day” - March 14

Doors open early for English Premier League soccer.

Full brunch available until 2:00 p.m.

Full Menu, including traditional Irish favorites all day.

Irish Dancers performing throughout the day.

Live Music with Stout 7 starts at 9:30p.m.

Sunday, March 8 – Perfect Pint Contest – time TBD

It’s a neighborhood “pour-off” and serious bragging rights are at stake! Open to the public.

Thursday, March 12 – Whiskeys of the World Finale

Join us for a blind whiskey tasting and high-end sampling event! Get your tickets to the entire month long whiskey crawl in advance – limited space available.

Monday, March 16 – Super Paddy’s Day Pub Quiz – 8pm

Quizzers should come prepared as its an all-Irish Quiz night! Drink specials and great prizes! Free to play and new teams always welcome.

Sunday, March 15 – Parade Day

Doors open early with European sports featuring Liverpool v Manchester United at 9.30 a.m. Live music with Danny burns noon to 4 p.m. No cover.

Saturday, March 21 – St. Baldrick’s Head Shaving Event

Our annual head-shaving event where the community raises money and awareness to help fight children’s cancer. Shavees have already registered to help beat the $30,000 goal! It’s great craic for a great cause. Click here to register, donate, or learn more.
