Welcome to Fadó Atlanta; the original of the species.

The original Atlanta Fadó opened in January 1996 at the corner of Peachtree Rd and Buckhead Avenue and became an instant hit with the people of Atlanta.

The original Fadó closed on 20 October 2007 to help make way for a new development in Buckhead- the Streets of Buckhead. At the same time a new Fadó location, just up the street, was announced and the lads opened a temporary location (simply called 'The Pub') just up the way on Peachtree.

The new Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant

The new Fadó opened to the public on 11 March 2008.  The new three-level venue was created in Dublin by the Irish Pub Company and was shipped to Atlanta during the winter of 2007.

Regulars will recognize much from the previous location, but also will enjoy new features including the new hand milled bar, the “Grand House” area with oversized fireplace, the mezzanine’s Celtic art inspired by St. Patrick’s arrival in 432 A.D., and the rooftop patio complete with stone walls and large murals depicting Ireland’s rugged landscape. But, it won’t all feel traditional. The heated floor on the rooftop deck is a modern day touch; we didn’t think the whole pub should just feel like Ireland.

With lots of room, it is a great place for lunch, dinner, happy hour, late night fun and corporate or private events. We are also the home of undoubtedly the best pint in Atlanta.

But that is just the beginning. We welcome all to come in and enjoy  the craic and the exclusive coverage via satellite of live Irish and European sporting events. If you are a newcomer to Irish sports, you will not be disappointed. We here in Atlanta are proud to sponsor our own local Gaelic Football Team,Clan Na nGael.

Irish pubs have always been the social center for their communities-- Fadó continues that fine Irish tradition.
