Thursday, June 9 at 7pm
Let's face facts, beer is delicious and we love it. We offer some great European drafts and couldn’t think of a better way to showcase a few of them then a 4 course inspired meal.
We just went through the grueling process of tasting a pile of beers to make sure we got the best for you guys. Don't believe us? Where else do you think Brian has been the last few days. On holiday? Not at all.
Four great European beers, paired with tasty dishes and a passionate and educated speaker who will leave even the most knowledgeable of beer snobs walking away with fun facts to show off at the next pub quiz.
We hope you enjoy the evening as much as we enjoyed preparing for it.

Did ya know?
Bass Pale Ale
The Bass Brewery was founded as a brewery in 1777 by William Bass in Burton on Trent, England. The main brand was Bass Pale Ale which was once the highest selling beer in the UK. The company became one of the main breweries in the UK, and Bass Pale Ale was exported throughout the British Empire, the distinctive red triangle becoming the UK's first registered trademark.
Ever had a Black and Tan? Made with part Guinness, not bad at all!
Stella Artois
A classic Belgian Pilsner, brewed in both of Leuven and Jupille. Stella was first brewed in Leuven in 1336.
Leffe Blonde
The Abbey Notre Dame de Leffe was founded in 1152 on the Meuse River in the province of Namur in southern Belgium. Like many monastaries this one brewed beer. Leffe Blonde is the flagship of Leffe, it's a refreshing and complex beer going from fruity to spicy in the same glass.
Hoegaarden
A renowned witbier (wheat beer) named after the village in which it was first brewed, a small town in the wheat-growing Brabant farmlands close to Leuven. Its origins date back to 1445 and it is generally regarded as the original classic of its style. This beer has won countless Gold Medals and in 2009 it won 'Highest Appreciation' from chefs and sommeliers of the iTQi, the International Taste & Quality Institute in Brussels.
